Würth Norway was awarded the Romerike Business Award at the Lillestrøm Conference last year.

Who deserves to receive the Romerike Business Award 2026? The honorary award will be presented at the Lillestrøm Conference on June 4th.

The Business Award aims to honor a pioneering company that serves as a prominent beacon for sustainability. The company or enterprise highlighted is established in Romerike and actively uses the UN Sustainable Development Goals in its business model.

Now it's time to nominate candidates.

The deadline for nominating companies is April 26th.

A guiding star for sustainability

The award presented at the Lillestrøm Conference, shall be an inspiration that can help raise awareness about the positive business development in Romerike. It shall inspire local companies to see the value of sustainability as a competitive advantage.

– It is important that the company has delivered a positive bottom line, in terms of economy, environment, and social value creation, says Inger-Lise M. Nøstvik of Kunnskapsbyen.

She explains that the jury is looking for companies that are an inspiration to others and that have implemented one or more sustainability initiatives that have created value. The award winner must have embedded sustainability in their strategies and action plans – with measurable results.
