The Lillestrøm Conference – Romerike's largest meeting place – is moving to Nova Spektrum next year. The move marks a new step in the conference's development as a networking arena.
Next year's conference will be held on May 27th at Nova Spektrum.
– After ten years at Lillestrøm Cultural Center, this is not a decision we have taken lightly. The Cultural Center has been an important partner and key facilitator of the Lillestrøm Conference throughout these years, says project manager June Ruud Oppøyen.
The conference has developed significantly over the last decade. Kunnskapsbyen now sees a need to renew both its format and content.
– We want more than before. The framework must therefore also give us the opportunity to think bigger, create more interaction, and develop new concepts, she says.
Networking in focus
The move is not about changing what works – but about strengthening it. The ambition is clear: The Lillestrøm Conference should not only inspire, but actually influence the development in the region.
– We are very pleased that Kunnskapsbyen has chosen to host the Lillestrøm Conference at Nova Spektrum. More room to maneuver
With larger areas and new opportunities at Nova Spektrum, everything is set for the next chapter.
– We know the conference is an important meeting place for businesses, the public sector, and knowledge communities in Romerike. The ambitions being raised align well with our role as a facilitator for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and business development, says Marius Myhre.
