Mikael Genberg finds it unreal that the moon dream is finally coming true. Facsimile from the Lillestrøm Conference on Facebook 2016, and SVT Nyheter 2024.
Now the dream is about to come true, with the help of funding from a 60's private individuals who have stepped in as part-owners of the limited company Moon House.
“It costs between five and ten million,” Mikael Genberg told SVT Nyheter.
In December, the decimeter-sized house will join the journey when a rocket is launched from Cape Canaveral. Hopefully, both the spacecraft and the “cabin” will land safely on the moon.
It should be placed on a rover, which should then find the best suitable place to set down the red house on the lunar surface.
And it will remain there, for thousands, millions of years. It's tiny on the ground, but up there it's gigantic. Everything living on the moon can fit in this house,” says Genberg.
