Dansk Industri visited Romerike and Oslo to learn more about our approach to emission-free construction sites.

Emission-free construction is gaining increasing attention in Denmark, where many view Norway as a leader in zero-emission construction sites.

A delegation of 19 representatives from Dansk Industri visited Romerike and Oslo to learn how the region has become a leading light when it comes to zero-emission construction sites. They wanted to see how zero-emission construction is carried out in practice – and what important takeaways there could be for Danish pioneers who want to take the same step.

The delegation consisted of participants from Dansk Industri – Byggeri, the Center for Public-Private Innovation, municipalities, consulting firms, and contractors. They were guided through the entire value chain, from public procurement and environmental requirements specification, via guidelines and solutions for electrical infrastructure, as well as a visit to a zero-emission construction project, to available zero-emission equipment and insights gained from previous zero-emission projects.
