SN/TS 3770 makes it easier for builders and authorities to make requirements for emission-free construction sites. The document specifies the rules, roles and responsibilities for the establishment and operation of construction sites and construction sites without direct emissions.

The document also defines terms that can be used in agreements relating to such construction sites and construction sites. The document deals with direct emissions from the implementation stage (Steps 5-7 of NS3467) of construction activities within the site area.

The document is considered useful for public and private builders, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, infrastructure owners in areas such as electricity grids and district heating networks involved in carrying out a construction or construction project. Other audiences are technology and equipment vendors that can provide tools and interfaces for data collection and simplified reporting.
