Emission free working machines
Work machines come in many varieties from huge dump trucks to hand-held tools such as hedge trimmers and chainsaws. Examples of some of the most common working machines in connection with construction work and municipal operations can be found in overview of Klima Østfold and Bellona's International Overview (English).
Emission free machines are defined in this Guide as solutions based on electricity (including both cable connection and battery, or a combination thereof), hydrogen (including battery-electric hybrid solutions) and biogas.
Briefly about the supervisor
The guide is prepared within the framework of Interreg project Cleancon (2019-2025) where the aim is to contribute to creating a larger Nordic market for emission-free machinery and equipment through the dissemination of information and expertise with regard to completed projects, as well as which emission-free alternatives exist and can be implemented already today.
